2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke. A Signet Book, Q3580. New York: New American Library, [1968-69]. Paperback.

Clarke's novel, written alongside Stanley Kubrick's film and credited as based on the Kubrick and Clarke screenplay. The cover announces the "history-making motion picture" starring Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood, in Cinerama, so this is an early film tie-in printing. It's a notable science fiction paperback and a collectible for fans of the film.
